Make your own Greenman - Hand Building Workshop @ The Clay Academy

Come for an evening of clay creativity, by making your own Greenman. 

The Greenman is a pagan symbol to celebrate Spring and summer after a long winter. 

Let’s go for a small walk under the viaducts to  forage for foliage and flowers which we will imprint into clay as inspiration for the creation of our own green men. 

We will experiment will a number of different oxides and ceramic washes to bring our green men to life. 

All pieces will be fired and glazed in a clear glaze to let the oxides shine. 

All materials and tools will be provided, alongside stoneware clay. 

Pick up of finished pieces will be at the studio. Please allow 4 weeks processing time before pick up. I will notify everyone when your greenmen creations can be collected.
